With various internal and external trigger options and features, such as “Analog Persistence”, even searching for random irregular events becomes a child's play – and all this with the quality, accuracy and speed that are the hallmark of LTT products.
The housings are made from sturdy die-cast aluminium. An additional internal aluminium base protects the hard disk when operated in harsh environments.

LTT-186 does not need drivers, is detected by the PC as a hard disk and immediately ready for use. The operating systems WinXP, WinVista and Win7 are supported. The recorders are delivered with a 9-36VDC (internal) / 100-240VAC power supply (external) which makes them perfect for both stationary and mobile applications.
LTT186 Transient Recorders are used on locations where it is too dangerous for humans and/or computers to stay for longer periods of time. Examples: Blasting and crash tests or lightning strike investigations.
The stand-alone units allow off-line recording from many channels with high sampling frequency or bandwidth. Constant data rates up to 19.6 MBytes/s or 9.8Msample/s overall sample rate can be provided. Short bursts with 200MBytes/s or 100MSample overall sampling rate into the internal RAM can also be programmed.
Even higher data rates can be achieved by synchronisation of several units.
The internal 160GB hard disk (optional 320GB) is filled up with one measurement or divided into 16 flexible sections. Each measurement allows different parameters such as trigger condition, channel count, sample frequency and recording time.
